After over seven years in broadcast television and being the lone IT person, I have gained new skills with streaming media and video encoding and transcoding. With a mix of Mac and PCs running a variety of Mac OS, Windows, and Linux, I have learned how to install, support, use best practices, and manage the various systems, virtual machines, and how to use them in a broadcast television environment.
